South Terminus[edit]

The routebox currently lists I-595 as the southern terminus, maybe we'd be better off using US 50 instead, since I-595 isn't signed?-Jeff 03:07, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

True. I did it late last night and I didn't feel like putting them all in. Sorry about that. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 03:16, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Map[edit]

I just noticed, the map shows the route ending a bit away from 895. Or, at least, it shows a red line that stops at a blue line (not at an intersection). ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 14:30, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I-97 Factoids[edit]

The author should add the following factoid: I-97 is the only 2-digit Interstate not to connect to another 2-digit Interstate. The reference for this factoid is http://www.mdroads.com/routes/is097.html. The author should change the reference for the "shortest" and "intracounty" factoids to point to the above webpage, as it contains all three. Intracounty is spelled incorrectly and should be changed to intra-county to reflect the correct spelling.

@Voyager62:, thanks for the recent discussion threads you've opened. One word of caution is in order. Wikipedia has a policy on the use of reliable sources, and specifically a general prohibition on self-published sources. The mdroads.com website is self-published website, which means we can't use it as a source for our articles in most cases.
Also, there are multiple editors who contribute to the writing of Wikipedia articles, so there isn't one "author" involved. You can see all of the people who have contributed to this article at this link, which is the on the on "View history" tab at the top of the article. Comments[edit]

Images
  • All look fine, appropriate use and licenses.
General points
  • The main text is all good. I worked hard to find something to fix, but came up empty--clearly, you've done this before!
  • The only think I might add, if it can be found, is an explanation of why there is an interstate highway that only goes through one state. I know it happens in at least one other case (I-99), but the average reader might find it odd. But that's not enough to stand in the way of promotion, so I'll pass this now anyway. Nice work! --Coemgenus (talk) 16:21, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
