Neutrality Review Request: The statement "Though thousands of Irish convicts and military prisoners arrived in the 1650s, the majority of Irish people in Barbados both before and after this entered into indenture contracts voluntarily" is a strong assertion that needs to be corroborated by sources. The discussion of the practice of indentured servitude in Virginia (not Barbados) that then follows is not germane; it seems an attempt to deflect and imply a credibility to an unsubstantiated assertion.
