Races Won Section[edit]

Anyone else think the 'Races Won Section' right below the Trivia section is kinda pointless? Since all of his races won are already listed in the statistics box on the right side of the page.KaseyKahne 06:53, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The stats on the right only list the first and last race he won, and skips the others. TyVulpine (talk) 17:14, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In Popular Culture[edit]

I removed this section, 'cause it wasn't appropriate (and made poor Jamie sound like a fictional character). raganbaby_6 23:25, 17 November 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Raganbaby 6 (talkcontribs)

October 2010[edit]

  • The lead is probably a bit too short.
  • Wikipedia articles do not feature a lot of repetition, other than the lead must repeat things that are in the article. I have removed several instances.
  • I have added a lot of links.
  • Links to dabs have been fixed.
  • All references are live but you should format them using the Cite Web template. I did not check each ref to see if they actually support the text.
  • You cannot assume that your reader already knows the sport specifics if you want to take the article to GA or FA. If you get your article to FA, everyone will read it. There is a problem with the wording in 2008, where I have no idea what you are trying to say because I am not familiar with Nascar. The section will have to be re-worded. These items in particular need explaining:
    • "NASCAR reached the spring Martinsville race, and the 2008 points went into effect"
    • McMurray was required to qualify for the race on time."
    • "He qualified 5th, locking himself into the field as the fastest of the Go or Go Homers."
    • You will also need to provide a definition for the sport-specific term "x-measurement".
  • The phrase "he nipped him" is too informal. If they crashed, please say so.
  • Things should be linked on the first instance only (plus in the lead), unless the article is very long.

Ok, that's it for my mock-peer-review. Regards, --Diannaa (Talk) 06:29, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
