Notability[edit]

Doesn't meet criteria at Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Notability guide#People. Bazj (talk) 12:33, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Notability guide lists categories of people who are presumed to be notable; it does not circumscribe notability to only the listed people. Jason Amerine would appear to be notable based on his involvement with Hamid Karzai immediately prior to the beginning of the Afghan state in 2001; his subsequent appearance as a guest at the U.S. State of the Union address in 2002 and his appearance to testify before the U.S. Congress.SBaker43 (talk) 05:06, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Totally concur with the above. This guy was a relatively small player (pawn) in the whole deal. If he was played is questionable. Just as likely that he got seriously hammered at a unit function and did some seriously stupid thing as it is that he saw serious indiscretions. I also have a hard time believing that he ever met Hamid Karzai. That's a pretty hard one to confirm right there. I do think the guy is tough as nails and probably a good guy but this claim seems a bit specious at this time.66.191.8.218 (talk) 06:26, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Invasion of panama[edit]

How did LTC Amerine participate in the Invasion of Panama in late 1989 while a student at USMA West Point? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.60.43.238 (talk) 02:27, 8 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm assuming you've not heard of the new M-69 time travel module? 66.191.8.218 (talk) 06:27, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
