South mound - cannot be Thyra's[edit]

There is an incorrect sentence here:

"Later, to the south of it he raised an even higher empty mound, which a runestone raised by Gorm describes as the grave of Harald's mother, Queen Thyra."

I have just been to the monument and they do write something that earlier it was suspected that one of the mounds belong to Thyra, but I am not sure if they knew which one was Gorm's and which Thyra's. Anyways, just as the above sentence correctly sais, this mound was built later than the Northern mound - which was built after Gorm's death. That means that unless Gorm could see the future or was absolutely sure about the building plans, he could not erect a runestone describing a not yet existing mound as Thyra's grave. Actually the runestone only commemorates Thyra and doesn't say anything about her grave. According to the museum, the south mound was never in use - it might have been erected for Harald himself before he converted to christianity.

I haven't yet corrected, as I was not sure if the south mound was suspected to be Thyra's or if it was the north mound. Since the north mound is smaller, it would had make sense to link that one to the queen and the taller south one to the king. If someone knows, please correct it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Akos.domotor (talkcontribs) 19:05, 3 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
