Porush and Eliyahu[edit]

As far as i'm aware, Amihai Eliyahu is the Minister of Heritage, while Meir Porush is the Minister of Jerusalem Affairs.

@Number 57, do we split Eliyahu's ministry into another article, modify the table to somehow represent two people holding the office at once, or find some other solution? Totalstgamer (talk) 23:04, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

According to the Knesset website, they are both Jerusalem Affairs Minister...
Separately, when you update articles on new MKs or ministers, please add {{Current MKs}}/{{Current government of Israel}}/Category:Members of the 25th Knesset (2022–)/relevant minister category etc. Cheers, Number 57 00:13, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As for the latter part, no problem. As for the former part, you seem to be right. The Knesset's website refers to Porush as the Minister of Jerusalem and Israeli heritage, while Eliyahu is the minister of Jerusalem and Heritage. Hebrew wikipedia uses the distinction i originally drew, with a page being opened for the Ministry of Heritage on Hebrew Wikipedia (link here https://he.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D7%9E%D7%A9%D7%A8%D7%93_%D7%94%D7%9E%D7%95%D7%A8%D7%A9%D7%AA).
The page mentions that the split formally happened on January 22nd. Based on the January 22nd decision, which originally appointed Porush to the cabinet (link here: [1]), the Ministry of Heritage is taking over from the Jerusalem Affairs Ministry, while the Ministry of Jerusalem Affairs (and Tradition) is being re-established under Porush, which means we should either rename this page to Ministry of Heritage (Israel) and create a new page for Porush's ministry, or standardize with hebrew wikipedia and move Eliyahu's ministry to a new page. It frankly depends what each ministry actually does, i'm quite confused as is. Totalstgamer (talk) 01:13, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
