The current (2020) digital print run of "The Theory of Error-Correcting Codes", which went through at least 12 correcting impressions between 1977 (original publishing date) and 2006, still lists her name as "Florence Jessiem MacWilliams" in the frontmatter. The spelling "Jessiem" can also be found in many places in the web. Is this just a spelling mistake that went uncorrected and somehow distributed all over the place, or a valid variant spelling of her middle name? --Matthiaspaul (talk) 16:23, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
