Religious beliefs[edit]

The article mentions that he regularly attends a Presbyterian church with his familyand is weird. The article from which it is sourced, however, is really old. The article also mentions that exact phrase right after it states that he is not married. Since he is not married anymore, I think the statement should be removed. Also, at the bottome of the page it lists him as both Presbyterian and Roman Catholic. Any objections? El Diablo Volador Sunday, October 15, 2006

Fixed the table[edit]

It is amazing how fast jim carrey actually died after the hoax was discovered. He was pronouned dead just before midnight on June, 7, 2013. They are now looking for Will Ferrell for questioning and possible joint suicide attempt. News is no longer develping. Jim carrey dead at the age of 51. Very sad! Somehow everything after the table was somehow added into the last row and column. Now, I'm not a usual editor, but it'd looked horrible. So, using the code examples of another page with a table I managed to fix it. Yay. Also, I hope that the Spiderman 4 rumour is right. That would be awesome.

Citations needed in early life[edit]

In Early Life, it says "His mother was of French,[citation needed] Irish,[citation needed] and Scottish descent[1]". I should've copied it before I edited it, but before (I don't know how to do the formatting for it) it was larger than the rest of the text and red, saying something like "Citation Non-Existent" (in both places). I edited it just because it really stood out among the otherwise black, smaller text, and there's already the standard "[citation needed]". I guess it just looked kind of "un-encyclopedic".  :P

Semi-protected edit request on 23 February 2015[edit]

Please change the word "check" to "Cheque". 77.99.49.23 (talk) 20:16, 23 February 2015 (UTC)

{Red information icon with gradient background.svg Not done: It is spelled "check" in American English, which is appropriate for this article. See WP:ENGVAR RudolfRed (talk) 00:30, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
Considering he was born in Ontario I dispute the appropriateness of using 'American' english. - A Canadian Toker (talk) 16:13, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

Style edit request on 5 May 2015[edit]

For style, I would suggest removing the second sentence of the first paragraph ("Carrey has received two Golden Globe Awards").

For style, in the tandem with my previous edit, I would also recommend changing "Known for his highly energetic slapstick performances, he has been described as one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood" to "Known for his highly energetic slapstick performances, Carrey has been described as one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood".

Beliefs[edit]

I'm planning to add information on his beliefs section. There are a lot of information that can be added there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jardouin (talkcontribs) 20:46, 1 July 2015 (UTC)

I look forward to seeing what you come up with. Sgerbic (talk) 23:43, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
