Fitzgibbon investigated illegally[edit]

Associated Press are saying that internal elements of the defence ministry have 'investigated' Fitzgibbon, including, but not exclusive to examining his computer due to his friendship with a Chinese born lady. This sounds like a highly illegal, near mutinous 'operation' of the Australian Defence Force with my understanding of Australian law and I think it would be prudent to include this in the article here.--Senor Freebie (talk) 05:11, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. I have however reverted the anon IPs contribution as it is clearly one sided and a violation of WP:NPOV. Timeshift (talk) 05:38, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Good work with getting rid of that nonsense - I've just attempted a NPOV para. Nick-D (talk) 07:17, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Editors please explain why Helen Liu's info had been deleted from this article, whereas the fact that Ms Liu does have contact with high Chinese government officials is being reported all over the place, why it is defamatory? Arilang talk 07:41, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Is 'Spy Scandal' an appropriate heading? I thought the only proven error was not declaring gifts from Ms Liu. I don't think she has been proven to be a spy. --Surturz (talk) 11:25, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

BLPN question[edit]

Hi. I wanted to let contributors here know that there is an open discussion at WP:BLPN related to this investigation, at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard#Helen Liu. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:25, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
