It's not clear if this meets the notability criterion WP:AUTHOR. It might meet #1 ("widely cited by peers...") if that's the case. I don't think he passes #2 ("significant new theory") or 3 ("body of work" covered by other media). Possibly under #4 ("significant critical attention") although it's not clear what the bar is on that, because pretty much every book published gets a back cover blurb with a few reviews on it, or has some press reviews when it comes out.
