Opposition spokesman?[edit]
"Hall served as an opposition spokesman on Treasury, economic affairs and trade until October 1965." But from 1952 to 1964 the Conservatives were in government; and from 1964 to 1966 he was an executive member of the 1922 Committee (which is composed of backbenchers), so can't have been a frontbench spokesman.
