  • "He served as a royal justice and sheriff before being nominted to Hereford." - nominated. Royal justice; can we link the courts?
  • Yeah, but WHICH article? I'm not an expert on English judicial matters, and am not clear which court would be the predecessor here. Ealdgyth - Talk 16:16, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
  • Speaking as somebody who is, I'd go for the Court of King's Bench, widely considered the more senior of the two (although I've always rooted for the Common Pleas, assumpsit debate aside). Ironholds (talk) 16:52, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
  • "sheriff of Herefordshire " - "Sheriff of Herefordshire
  • Fixed and linked. Ealdgyth - Talk 16:16, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
  • "From this point until after the Battle of Evesham in 1265, Breton does not appear in the records, but shortly after the conclusion of the battle, he once more appears, this time with a grant of royal safeguarding" - "Breton does not appear in the records from this point until after the Battle of Evesham in 1265, when he is noted as holding a grant of royal safeguarding"
  • "at first at Court of Common Pleas, and then at the King's Bench from 1268" - "first in the Court of Common Pleas, and then at the King's Bench from 1268"
  • ", he longer served as a royal justice" - ", he no longer served as a royal justice"
