Comment[edit]

== Irony == I find the irony in that the JTTF is suppose to be a secret operative behind the scenes nobody knows stamp confidential for your eyes only -- yet here we are trying to write an Encyclopedic article about everything they do. .:davumaya:. 19:26, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

It is the job of the JTTF to investigate terrorism, and it is also their job to determine (controversial or not) when something is not terrorism. If anything, these "false negative" determinations are some of the most notable cases as they have cleared Nidal Hasan and Lloyd r. Woodson despite large amounts of information from the WP:RS indicating otherwise. Bachcell (talk) 17:58, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

Terrorism section[edit]

Seems to be solely focused on what has not been called terrorism. wjematherbigissue 08:19, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

No, if anything it sheds light on the enormous amount of investigation the FBI has dedicated to these 3 cases, there are other not yet mentioned where the JTTFs have resulted in charges and convictions. As is mentioned in the criticism section, there is a significant body of thought that the fairly consistent pattern of dismissing not just one or two, but EVERY red flag of terrorism is notable in itself and evidence that the FBI in some case appears to be more concerned with dismissing likely terrorism cases, especially in the light of a STRATFOR report, widely quoted in various blogs, but not yet in RS, or it would be in here, that the FBI as directed its agents to "back off" muslim terrorist cases, especially in the case of black converts in the Little Rock case, and also to NOT profile muslims in any way. This relates greatly to the "fringe" theory of Obama's ties to Islam, which even if it were not true, certainly exists in its own right. If you would like to help, you could add other JTTF cases which did result in prosecution, which might include the Oct 2009 boston arrest or the Virginia Jihad network, but I have not had the time to add these other cases. Bachcell (talk) 19:14, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

I would suggest that you have not had the time because you are focused on pressing a particular agenda. The problems are obvious. No time at all in this section is dedicated to anything the task force has done with regard to terrorism other than what it has declared not terrorism. You must stop pushing your own POV and conspiracy theories into articles. "in various blogs, not yet in RS" – says it all. wjematherbigissue 19:22, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
Here, here, and removed to show the balance of opinion about the issue. Grsz11 21:06, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
The same problems exist. This is not a forum for conspiracy theories. wjematherbigissue 00:18, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
Has anyone been able to find any sources that actually link the task force to any of these cases. In edit summaries it has been made clear that certain editors feel any FBI involvement can be considered part of the task force [1] I find that edit summary highly disturbing. I have repeatedly asked for sources connecting the cases to the task force, now I have been told that the article is not really about the task force. 00:58, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
A quick google search easily establishes that the JTTF was called in all of these cases, which you could have easily done with a little research instead of promoting a contrary POV. It's fixed now. Evidently nearly all terrorism cases are looked at by the JTTF, so this would be as good a place to put any investigations not definitely tied to the JTTF as well. Bachcell (talk) 17:53, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
How are you determining which cases to include? It appears that you are solely focused on those that fit your agenda. Do you have any intention of fixing the WP:NPOV and WP:UNDUE issues that you have created? wjematherbigissue 18:37, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
No it's not a good place to put cases not tied to the task force. 18:53, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
And you are using this article as a WP:COATRACK. Should the Woodson incident becom a notable subject, the article will be recreated. In the meantime, I recommenced that you leave it to one side, i.e. your sandbox. wjematherbigissue 18:52, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
