Major rewrite[edit]

The reference I used and cited, describes 26.8 miles of Jordan Creek that can be navigated by canoe or kayak starting in Lowhill, PA. As the stream is born well upstream of Lowhill, it is certainly longer than the 15 miles originally stated in the article.

My reference does not list the source of the stream. Since the original article did not cite a reference, I deleted the source statement. Please feel free to put this information back in the article if a reference can be provided.

I also "Wikified" the article so that it conforms to the format followed by other Pennsylvania River stubs.

I enjoy traveling creeks to their source, and with the many definitions of "source," I usually stop when I find a confluence of creeks of similar size, with neither of them upstream of the confluence to have any road bridges. If all upstream creeks are small enough to be simply pipes under a roadway, I felt that this was the "beginning" of the creek.
In the case of the Jordan Creek, I think that it is hard to argue that the creek begins at the large lake at the corner of Muse Rd and Loch Valley Rd east-northeast of Stines Corner, Pa in Weisenberg Township, Pennsylvania (40'37" N 75'45" W) . The lake has 2 small creeks feeding it, but both are too small to consider either of them "the" Jordan Creek.
According to the Weisenberg Township wikipedia page, some of the township is part of the Schulykill River watershed, showing that this is likely as far west of any tributary of the Jordan can be.
As this is only my opinion, I am not listing it in the main page without agreement. If others do agree, it can be added later.
