Shouldn't it have it's own article by now? I can't find it anywhere on Wikipedia. Was it canceled? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.204.146.137 (talk) 06:36, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Music genre

He's not predominantely a R&B/soul singer. He's more pop. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.196.99.4 (talk) 20:21, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Instruments

This dude plays more instruments. You guys might wanna check this. He's no virtuoso, but there are other instruments Justin Timberlake plays like the piano and bass. He played bass with Flaming Lips once and on an 'N Sync performance. You can search for that and update the page. Also check for him playing the piano in some performances. I just saw this on his "What Goes Around" performance for his FutureSex/LoveShow on YouTube. Look it up and update the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.231.40.3 (talk) 01:15, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

GA review

GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

This article is in decent shape, but it needs more work before it becomes a Good Article.

  1. Is it well written?
    A. The prose is clear and concise, and the spelling and grammar are correct:
In the Early life section, 5 should be spelled out as five. "When the show ended in 1995, Timberlake recruited Chasez to be in a new all-male singing group organized by boy band manager Lou Pearlman was forming with Chris Kirkpatrick", this may be me, but the sentence needs to be a little clearer and it needs a source to back that up.
    B. It complies with the manual of style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation:
  2. Is it verifiable with no original research, as shown by a source spot-check?
    A. It contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline:
    B. Reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose):
  • A source is needed to cover this sentence ---> "His parents divorced about 1986 and both have remarried; his mother, who now runs an entertainment company called Just-in Time Entertainment, remarried to Paul Harless, a banker, when Justin was aged 5; while his father, a choir director at a Baptist church, has two children, Jonathan (born c. 1993) and Stephen (born c. 1998), from his second marriage to Lisa. A twin sister, Justina Timberlake tabitha, died shortly after birth in 1997 and is mentioned on one of Timberlake's record acknowledgments as "My Angel in Heaven". It is rumored that Timberlake resides in the Libby Residence Hall
  • N'Sync section, "Timberlake and JC Chasez, who had known each other in the Mickey Mouse Club, were the two lead singers of the popular 1990s boy band, 'N Sync", "the 11 million albums sold", and "For the next two years, they, encouraged by similar situations in the Backstreet Boys, engaged in a lengthy legal battle with corrupt manager Lou Pearlman and eventually signed with Jive Records", need a source.
  • New section - 2002-2004: Justified and Super Bowl, "In August 2002, after months of recording the album, Timberlake performed at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards, where he premiered his first single, "Like I Love You", a sparse dance track produced by The Neptunes", "The song reached number eleven on the Billboard Hot 100", needs a source.
  • "Following the single, Timberlake released his debut solo album, Justified, on November 5, 1999", needs a source.
  • Does Reference 17 cover ---> "The album also received critical acclaim, thanks to its heavy R&B influence provided by hip-hop producers The Neptunes and Timbaland"?
  • "Timberlake supported the album by co-headlining the Justified/Stripped Tour with Christina Aguilera in the summer of 2003", needs a source to back that up.
  • At the end of the performance, Timberlake tore off a part of Jackson's black leather costume in a "costume reveal" meant to accompany a portion of the song lyrics. Part of the costume became detached, and Jackson's breast was briefly exposed, really needs a source.
  • "As a result of the controversy, Timberlake and Jackson were banned from the 2004 Grammy Awards unless they agreed to apologize on screen at the event", needs to have a source, due to all the controversy that occurred.
  • His wins at the 2004 Grammy's need a source. 2004-2006: Collaborations and acting, "The first role he took during this time was as a journalist in the thriller Edison Force, which was filmed in 2004 and received a direct-to-video release on July 18, 2006" and "He also appeared in the films Alpha Dog, Black Snake Moan, Richard Kelly's Southland Tales, and voiced a young King Arthur in the animated film Shrek the Third, released on May 18, 2007", all need a source.
  • "After "Where Is the Love?", he again collaborated with the Black Eyed Peas on the 2005 track "My Style" from their album Monkey Business. Additionally, Timberlake was featured on Nelly's song, "Work It", which was remixed and included on Nelly's 2003 remix album. When recording the 2005 single "Signs" with Snoop Dogg", source.
  • The operation for his throat and advised not to sing or speak, need a source.
  • The release of FutureSex/LoveSounds needs a source.
  • Does Reference 23 cover ---> "debuted in the number one position on the Billboard chart, selling 684,000 copies its first week. It is the biggest album for pre-orders on iTunes, and beat Coldplay's record for the biggest one-week sales of a digital album. The album was produced by Timbaland and Danja (who produced a bulk of the album), will.i.am, Rick Rubin and Timberlake himself,[26] and features guest vocals by Three 6 Mafia, T.I. and will.i.am. A studio representative described it as being "all about sexiness" and aiming for "an adult feel"?"
  • Reference 33 needs to be fixed.
  • A source is needed for the restaurants he's opened.
  • Other work section, "Near the end of 2002, Timberlake was the first celebrity to appear on Punk'd, a "candid camera" type show created by Ashton Kutcher to trick celebrities. Three episodes later, he set up Kelly Osbourne to be "punk'd", thus making him the first celebrity to appear on the show more than once. Timberlake later spoofed Ashton Kutcher and Punk'd in a 2003 episode of NBC's Saturday Night Live", again.... source.
  • New section - Personal life, "Timberlake later dated actress-dancer Jenna Dewan (in mid-2002) and actress-singer Alyssa Milano (between September and October of 2002)", definitely needs a source.
  1. C. It contains no original research:
IMDB is not a reliable source.
    D. It contains no copyright violations nor plagiarism:
  2. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. It addresses the main aspects of the topic:
    B. It stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style):
  3. Is it neutral?
It represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each:
In the N'Sync section, "The success was followed by their third album...", needs to be re-written as it sounds like POV. This ---> "The album was also a success, despite selling considerably less than previous 'N Sync efforts", sounds like POV. "Timberlake put his recording career on hold in an attempt to jumpstart his acting career", needs to be re-written, just a little.
  4. Is it stable?
It does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute:
  5. Is it illustrated, if possible, by images?
    A. Images are tagged with their copyright status, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content:
    B. Images are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions:
  6. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
This article is in need of a lot of sourcing. But, if the statements above can be answered, I will pass the article. Good luck with improving this article!

Editing should be allowed!

There are a number of blatant mistakes, and unspecified statements on the Justin Timberlake Wikipedia page (one example is that he is not "rumoured" to be dating Jessica Biel, but is in fact, doing so; this has been confirmed by Justin himself, on more than one occasion now). If it wasn't protected, these issues could more easily be addressed.

I don't think it's a good thing for general media information pages to have the option of not allowing anyone to edit them but their creators. It counters a big part of what makes Wikipedia. Digginghistory (talk) 01:37, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Can you please allow the edit about JT appearing on Ciara's next single as confirmed with a credible referece.??? (Lil-unique1 (talk) 22:17, 19 February 2009 (UTC))

In addition, June 8 should be listed as past tense and the order of his other work is incorrect (2004 is before 2009).

Fight at Rainbow Bar

I heard something about Justin about being involved in a brawl at the Rainbow Bar after the Fashion Rocks show, read all about it here http://celebedge.sympatico.msn.ca/Justin+Timberlakes+club+chaos/Bang/ContentPostingBang3column?isfa=1&newsitemid=BSBS37556&feedname=BANG&show=False&number=0&showbyline=False&subtitle=&detect=&abc=abc&date=False. I wonder if it is viable enough to be included in the article. --Crackthewhip775 (talk) 02:41, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

The relevance is...? Has there been a criminal charge filed? Has there been a civil suit filed by any of the other parties, naming him? If not, I don't think it's relevant enough to be in the article. --Winger84 (talk) 16:38, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
That's why I asked if it's viable enough to be in the article, you can see that question written after the link. I was just suggesting. --Crackthewhip775 (talk) 00:04, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
Please don't assume bad faith in my response. It was certainly not intended to belittle or otherwise criticize. I merely posed the questions that needed to be answered about the subject, in order to answer the question that you asked. Thanks.. --Winger84 (talk) 19:29, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

So, if a civil suit is filed, it is considered relevant to his page? I ask because I do not see anything on the page about the suit filed against him back in 2000 involving an alleged assault at a hotel[1]. hsxeric (talk) 20:45, 10 February 2013 (UTC)

Justin Timberlake and his costar make a political statement. They say their movie just coming out is like the Occupy Wall Street movement. “It's very serendipitous that this movie's coming out right now with Occupy Wall Street, Occupy Los Angeles, Occupy the World as it were,” Timberlake said. “We’ve always split everyone into the classes throughout history, obviously through race and wealth. Andrew is so good at shedding a light on it, at turning a mirror on us by using this other worldly concept. The film does that, and also kicks your ass.” Costar Olivia Wilde also comments for the article today, October 24th, 2011.

Marine Corps Ball (grammar)

Could the sentence be edited to make it more clear? The way it is phrased now is very confusing, especially with the passive voice and only mentioning De Santis' name parenthetically: "Justin Timberlake was asked to take a fan to her unit's annual ball in July, 2011 via YouTube, and he attended the Marine Corps Ball with her (Kelsey De Santis) on Sunday, November 13, 2011 in Richmond, Virginia"

Could it possibly be changed to something like "In July of 2011, Marine Cpl. Kelly De Santis uploaded a Youtube video asking Justin Timberlake to attend the Marine Corps Ball with her in Richmond, Virginia. Timberland accepted the invitation, and on November 13, 2011, Timberlake attended the ball with De Santis. He wrote positively about the experience on his website, praising the dedication and patriotism of De Santis and her fellow Marines."

(I am new to wikipedia edits, so I hope I'm doing this according to protocol, I apologize if I'm not!) Katied9 (talk) 14:39, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

Your protocol is excellent, be assured. Text under the picture and to the left of the picture is shorter. Edit request on behalf of Matt Casella 11 January 2012

Please consider replacing the following paragraph:

CURRENT: In 1993, Timberlake joined the cast of The Mickey Mouse Club. His cast mates included future girlfriend and pop superstar Britney Spears, future tour mate Christina Aguilera, and future band mate JC Chasez.[6] The show ended in 1994, but late in 1995 Timberlake recruited Chasez to be in an all-male singing group organized by boy band manager Lou Pearlman[7] that eventually became 'N Sync.

WITH THIS EDIT:

Timberlake was discovered by casting director Matt Casella at an open call for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (MMC) in Nashville, Tennessee and joined the cast in 1993. His cast mates included future girlfriend and pop superstar Britney Spears, future tour mate Christina Aguilera, future band mate JC Chasez, and future film stars Ryan Gosling and Keri Russell. The show ended in 1994, but late in 1995 Timberlake recruited Chasez to be in an all-male singing group organized by boy band manager Lou Pearlman[7] that eventually became 'N Sync.

His confession of drug use a hit social media, in efforts to appeal to the humanity but did not tarnish his branding image as a pop star celebrity. In the Personal section it says that his and Brittany's relationship ended upbruptly in March 2002. It says they dated for 10 or 11 years which means they started dating around 1992. The problem is in the next paragraph where it says 'Post-Spears, Timberlake has generally refused to discuss his personal life with the media, as a result of which his relationships have been the subject of much speculation in the tabloid and celebrity press.' Ok, I am fine with that. The next sentence says, 'Prior to Spears, he was briefly romantically involved with Beyoncé Knowles and singer-actress Stacy Ferguson.'

So did he date Beyonce and Stacy prior to 1992 or after he broke up with Spears in 2002?? Mylittlezach (talk) 23:59, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

If you can provide a valid, reliable source, reopen this request and post the source and I will take another look at it.

Unless Timberlake's father was marriage two times to Lisa Perry, there should be a comma after the word "marriage": "...from his second marriage, to Lisa Perry."

Here's how the sentence reads presently: "His father, a choir director at a Baptist church, has two children, Jonathan (born c. 1993) and Steven Robert (born August 14, 1998), from his second marriage to Lisa Perry." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.28.235.114 (talk) 05:25, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

Mickey Mouse Club

I cannot edit Justin's page, but I have a request. It lists him as a member of The New Mickey Mouse Club. Technically, that is the 1970s version which starred Lisa Weichel among others. The version he starred in is titled The All-New Mickey Mouse Club. Can someone please change this on his page?

It shows up in the opening paragraph 3rd line down, Early Life and Education 8th line down, and Career: 1995-2004 1st line of 2nd paragraph.

Thanks so much! Blue4t (talk) 03:29, 15 April 2013 (UTC)

Filmography

(note: I hadn't noticed the preceding entry here until just now - sorry about missing the consensus suggestion)

First, I have added a filmography table. It seems obvious that this article needed one. Second, another editor feels that the filmography should be in a simple list form, similar to the basic listings for the discography. But, looking at the table, as it's laid out and with the information it contains, it's seems appropriate to keep the table instead of deleting it and creating a simple list in it's place. Also, the table is the format that is found on many, many other actors' articles. I'm not aware of any wiki-policy governing this issue. The table should remain in the article. - thewolfchild 21:07, 6 July 2013 (UTC)

Additionally, Status, I would like to add that seemingly every other actor on WP has their filmography in a detailed table, and not in simple list. I have considered that perhaps you have raised this issue because Timberlake isn't just an actor, but also a musical performer. To that end, I have looked up several other musical performer/actors (with listed discographies) here such as; Jennifer Lopez, Common, Ice Cube, Ice T, Emily Browning, Mandy Moore, Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Whitney Houston and Frank Sinatra. All of the articles have filmographies in a table format. So I really am at a loss as to why you BOLDLY needlessly reverted the table I added virtually within seconds of my doing so. You have also come to my personal talk page seeking a prompt discussion, which I have requested we bring here. Now I am waiting for a response from you, with an explanation as to why you feel Timberlake's page should be soo different from all these others. Thanks. - thewolfchild 21:55, 6 July 2013 (UTC)

First of all, I left a message on your talk after you said "see talk page" and there was nothing on this talk page at the time, so I don't know what you are going on about there. Can you show me an example of an actor, who has a filmography article, that also has a table in their main article? The purpose of the table is to show the film works, which is already done in Justin Timberlake videography. Should a table also be included for his albums, according to you?  — Statυs (talk, contribs) 22:14, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
Perhaps you should slow down a little bit. My response to you in the edit summary actually said "see article talk page". I don't see how it could be much clearer than that. As for your question about 'actors with filmography tables in their main articles'... again, if you would actually read what I wrote, I gave you TEN (10) examples. As it is, the only time I've seen an actor's page without a filmography table in the main article, is when the article or filmography table is so large, that it necessitates creating a separate page, just for the filmography.
The real questions here are; can you give a compelling, supported reason for your revert of my table as well as your insistence that it be a list instead, AND, can you show us an example of some major, well known actors who's article do not have a filmography table on the main page and instead, only have a basic list for their film work? Please, take your time... - thewolfchild 22:32, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
* Just to be clear on what I was responding to → [4] - wolf
Yes, and when I went to this talk page, there was nothing from you. Did you even look at those examples? The only one that has a filmography article is Jennifer Lopez, and there is no list or table on her article. I already explained to you the reason and you failed to respond to what I said. Christian Bale; I'm not seeing a film table, and he has a separate filmography article. Or at Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie (both featured articles).  — Statυs (talk, contribs) 00:04, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
  • Status: "Yes, and when I went to this talk page, there was nothing from you."
- To be clear, you posted on my talk page while I was posting on the JT talk page. You did this within only a few minutes. How about giving a guy a chance to write? (like I said, "slow down"... you reverted my table in 1 minute and 51 seconds - did you even look at it?)
  • Status: "Did you even look at those examples? The only one that has a filmography article is Jennifer Lopez, and there is no list or table on her article. I already explained to you the reason and you failed to respond to what I said. Christian Bale; I'm not seeing a film table, and he has a separate filmography article. Or at Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie (both featured articles)."
- Way, way wrong. Out of the Ten (10) examples I provide, Eight (8) have filmography tables within the article. (See; Common, Ice Cube, Ice T, Mandy Moore, Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and Whitney Houston) Did you bother to look at this?? (The only 2 that don't, are Jennifer Lopez and Frank Sinatra. But if you were paying attention, above I already wrote; "As it is, the only time I've seen an actor's page without a filmography table in the main article, is when the article or filmography table is so large, that it necessitates creating a separate page, just for the filmography". So, yes... JLo and some other bios' do have separate filmographies... but only because the main article is already too large, and... the separate filmography IS a table and NOT a list.)
Now, with that said, you still haven't, as of yet, provided any reasoning or support for your demand that the filmography in JT be a simple list, instead of a table, like every. other. actor. Can you please tell me why??
Also, where on the Justin Timberlake page, is there any kind of a reference to the Justin Timberlake videography?
Again, please take your time and review everything before responding. Thanks. - thewolfchild 07:01, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
(Still waiting for a response from you) Further to all this, I noticed that you have had some involvement with the Beyoncé Knowles page, including some editing of tables. Even that page has a filmography table on the main page. So, I must say that your actions here have really been quite confusing and contradictory. Was this all an error in judgement on your part? Were you simply a little to quick to revert, (< 2 min), without thinking it through? Or do you really have some sort of explanation as to why the Timberlake page should be so different from virtually every other entertainer bio? Now I did request that you take some time before responding, but that was almost 3 days ago and you have made several hundred edits since then, so we know you have been around. A response here would be appreciated. - thewolfchild 19:10, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
For the last time, I asked you to provide examples of actors who have a filmography, separate article AND also have a table in the article. I provided you with several examples of ones that do not. You argue that a filmography table should exist, despite the fact that there is a separate article. I will ask you again, should complete discography tables be included as well? Both are created when the information is too much to be on the article on its own. I think you should slow down (ironic), considering you keep being impatient and demanding me to reply (when I'm not even here... you know there are places outside of Wikipedia, and such thing as sleep, right?!). Lose the attitude.  — Statυs (talk, contribs) 22:35, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
And again, for the record, when you say see talk page, there should be something there, thus why I asked you where such a thing was. Remember that for next time.  — Statυs (talk, contribs) 22:44, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
  • "For the last time..."
- You promise?
  • "I asked you to provide examples of actors who have a filmography, separate article AND also have a table in the article"
- That's exactly what I did. BOTH. (Just what are you reading, anyway?)
  • "You argue that a filmography table should exist, despite the fact that there is a separate article."
- The only one bent on arguing here is you. I already advised you that I did not see any reference to a 'videography' page within the main article. (!)
  • "I will ask you again, should complete discography tables be included as well?"
- I couldn't care less. You are the one that is all bent about a discography table (or was it a list?) I was looking for his filmography, I didn't see one (or a reference to one)... so I added one.
  • "I think you should slow down (ironic), considering you keep being impatient and demanding me to reply (when I'm not even here... you know there are places outside of Wikipedia, and such thing as sleep, right?!)"
- Oh please. YOU are the one that reverted me in 1 minute and 57 seconds (a WP record? "irony" indeed). I reverted back WITH the comment "see the article talk page". Within minutes, I was posting on the talk page, as I said... yet, in even less time your popping up on my talk page, 'demanding' "Where?" a response is. Once I responded to you, and it appeared obvious you had screwed up, you conveniently disappeared. Don't give me your b.s. about doing other things off-site as there were hundreds of edits made by you during that time. Yes, I posted on your talk page seeking a response... JUST LIKE YOU DID. As for life off-site, well... compare our activities here and that answers that. Nice try.
  • "Lose the attitude."
- <insert belly laugh here> Are you joking? You really need to check yourself. You have both the attitude and impatience of a teenager. Oh, wait... you are one.
  • "And again, for the record, when you say see talk page, there should be something there, thus why I asked you where such a thing was."
- And, again, for the record, if you could keep your pants on, there was something there. Within minutes.
  • "Remember that for next time."
- Oh, yes sir. As you command... <rolling eyes> - thewolfchild 01:07, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

Why is there a need for a filmography table in the article when there is a separate list presenting all of his films, music videos and video albums? I don't see a reason duplicating it in the article too. I have to agree with Status, a table is not needed in the article. — Tomíca(T2ME) 22:42, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
Erm, yes.. I'm sure you do agree with Status. But, as written above, there was no reference to such a page in the main article. As it is, there was already a discography listing on the main, so why not a filmography? It certainly fits just fine. - thewolfchild 01:12, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

Yeah... clearly there is no discussing with a disruptive user who doesn't know how to communicate properly. If you don't provide an actual reason for the table to be there, it will be removed by the end of the week.  — Statυs (talk, contribs) 01:28, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

Yeah... clearly there is no discussing with a rude and irresponsible editor who can not and will not admit when he has made an error or crossed the line. I have addressed your questions while you have not addressed mine. Maybe you could also explain just how I've been "disruptive" - but I doubt it. You need to read up on WP:OWN. I have provided reasoning for my edit - over and over again. Aside from that, all I did was make an edit to improve the article - what are you doing? And does your little threat mean I need to repeat my reasoning to you again, by the end of the week? - thewolfchild 13:19, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
I've hardly made any edits to this article, so what is this WP:OWN you are speaking of? I simply asked you to provide examples of actors who have filmography articles AND filmography tables in their articles and you didn't provide any. The only reason you've given was WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS, lol. You attacking me (aka bringing my age up, which is irrelevant to this discussion) is disruptive.  — Statυs (talk, contribs) 00:54, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
I brought up wp:own because of the way you seem to arbitrarily and single-handedly dictate what should and should not be in this article. And, wouldn't wp:ose apply to your argument as well? Anyways, I only brought up your age to perhaps explain your attitude (my apologies). As it is, obviously this whole interaction has gone too far (I guess I'll be the first one to say it). I really don't wish to have anymore of this less-than-collegial back-and-forth with you. At the end of the day, I made an edit (2 now) that improved the article. That seems to be supported by the fact that you are the only one who has an issue with these edit(s). Why don't we just move on to other things that could better use our attention? I wish you the best. Have a nice day. - thewolfchild 02:00, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
Tomica (above, who created the Justin Timberlake videography article too disagrees with the inclusion of the table. And I see you've, again, dodged the question...  — Statυs (talk, contribs) 11:22, 13 July 2013 (UTC)

wow.

  • I extend you an olive branch and you brush it away with more of you arrogance and intransigence.
  • I noted you had Tomica do the revert, with the comment of "2 against 1" no less. (Oh... and he "created the JT videography page? Big surprise...)
  • As I have already pointed out (with the complaints of other editors that align with mine) you and Tomica act as one, so you are basically one. So, I say again, aside from the single complaint from you and he, no one else has raised any issue with my edit.
  • Nothing you have said supports your position and all you have done is contradict yourself and demonstrate your own proprietary need to control the content of this article. AND, you have been quite rude about it as you go along. So, just what does your revert serve to do? (While my edit improves the article - which is the point).
  • The page with the table included is the same as other similar articles. If you bothered to read WP:OSE, you would see it actually supports my edit.
  • Timberlake, though known as a musical performer, is also emerging as a mainstream actor. Some people coming to his article will be doing so to see his filmography, which is now there... just like many other actors. I came to the page looking for just that, only to find nothing there. (and, no... I didn't notice the link to the videography page that was hidden in a collapsed table at the very bottom of the page. Who would??) Only after you mentioned the additional page did I see it, only to find his filmography buried among all his other musical video projects (and with a format including director(?) and box office totals (?), but no notes?).
  • The additional page is nice, but the main page - with the table included - is similar to the many other examples of pages that you asked for and I provided you. If you feel the table should be in another position, say above the discography list (that IS included, when there is ALSO a separate page), then... sure, move it there. But the table should remain within the main page of the article.
  • Lastly, it appears that Vladvp262562 and 173.185.81.217 agree with me putting consensus in favour of my edit. - thewolfchild 17:39, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
  • As part of consensus, it should be noted that some other well-established editors have made edits to improve the table, while having the table itself remain in place. (ie: [5] and [6] ) - thewolfchild 21:58, 14 July 2013 (UTC)

Dancer and entertainer

Article should state that he's a dancer. He has performed so many complicated dance routines over his career to be considered a professional dancer too. Espescially on his justified and future sex/lovesounds tours. He is also an entertainer, considering multiple funny skits on SNL, ESPY host etc.

--86.150.55.4 (talk) 04:03, 24 July 2013 (UTC)

His SNL work is as an actor, and is not a professional dancer, he performs on stage, but that is not his occupation.  — Statυs (talk, contribs) 04:26, 24 July 2013 (UTC)

Michael Jackson's credited as a dancer, Timberlake dances just as much on stage. He was also credited as a backup dancer on a music video. He hosted the ESPY's in a comical fashion, plus a few comical music videos with Andy Samberg. This combined with his funny skits on SNL should brand him an entertainer too.
