Notability?[edit]

My speedy deletion notice was removed for the reason "all radio stations are notable". Searching, I found an old page suggesting all Class B or C FM stations could be considered notable, but that page is marked inactive. Notability (media), a nonbinding essay, suggests "Notability can be established by either a large audience, established broadcast history, or unique programming." Also, "Editors might consider creating a table listing the radio stations in an area which might be redirected to rather than creating dozens of stub articles."

Is there a consensus on the relevant guidelines? Dmwiki (talk) 07:13, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

The station is licensed by the FCC and currently transmitting programming, so it meets the minimum guidelines for notability. The station just launched, so obviously there won't be that much to find, so please consult with WT:WPRS if you have any concerns. Thank you. Nate (chatter) 07:16, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
OK, I wasn't aware that was the relevant rule. Thanks! Dmwiki (talk) 07:17, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
