Buddhist Monastery History[edit]

srilankatravelnotes is not a historic reference site to refer the history details. We need to add historical references from quotations, reference from books, papers, or popular historical stories or from a scholarly work. So, please don't add any references from blogs/sites that does not have any of those.

First should say the references were not provided using blogs. Kanniya Hot water spring article was not referred proper quotations in your edits. You said srilankatravelnotes is not a historic reference site, what is the reason?. Also I would like to know what is your popular historical story? The myth/legend about Ravana? Otherwise the srilankatravelnotes was not the only reference that had been added. Also can you explain the removal of other references? So please don't remove references without proper description. --L Manju (talk) 14:46, 28 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Please add only the sources from Reliable Source. WIKI standard reliable SOURCE clearly mentioned, Base articles on reliable, third-party, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. Could you please tell me, is srilankatravelnotes a reliable source for HISTORICAL citations? It is a travel note which promote travels and tourism. That's it. If so, anyone can write a blog about any topic and simply refer it as a citation here. You an me can do it. Technically it can, but those are not source. I hope you understood.
Further your referred article is a Self-published sources. Read the starting of the article. Our recent visit to Kanniya wells gave us an...'. It is surely not a citation to add here.
Histories are referred through, stories, myth and legends. Even its myth/legends, it is a Reliable Source to give information to the readers.
Could you please remove your own reference which are not compatible with WIKI standards like Reliable Source and Self-published sources Thank you.
