More work needed[edit]

I've improved what I can. I'm struggling to find any reliable information or sources to add to Ackerman's biography. Bibliographic details are scanty. I have been unable to source confirmation for the ALA Notable books claim as these probably pre-date the lists available on-line, which start at 1998.
