I feel that this article is a stub- there ought to be rather more information on Keating's role as an agitator for United States action in the Cuban Missile Crisis (I got my information from "The Cuban Missile Crisis", editing and commentary by Robert A. Divine.) Keating, Divine alleges, frequently addressed the Senate regarding the state of armaments in Cuba, and argued that they were becoming a real threat of which the United States public ought to be informed.

I removed the reference to Barbara Keating being Kenneth Keating's daughter. Barbara Keating was the husband of Major Daniel Keating, USMC, who died during the Vietnam war. Measure for Measure (talk) 01:54, 1 September 2008 (UTC)Measure for Measure
