"Kenya first competed in the Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia" - mention it was in 1956
"participated on nine" → "participated in the Summer Olympics on nine"
"Both Boit and Henry Bitok were a runner" → what?
"each runner" → "both athletes"
Both the "-" should be a "—"
"welcoming as he" → "welcoming him as he"

@Yellow Dingo: Thanks for reviewing. A couple of those errors were because I thought I'd finished the article and then found out that there was a second Kenyan who tried to qualify - so changing a couple of the singulars to plurals got missed. I've run the dash tool to fix those issues - I'd meant to prior to nominating but it got late and I forgot. Miyagawa (talk) 09:31, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
