Kevin Connolly the singer vs. the actor[edit]

I stumbled across this page because I was looking for info on Kevin Connolly the Boston-based folk singer. Granted the singer isn't a major Hollywood celebrity, but he's the owner of kevinconnolly.com and has been in the business for years, so he's not a nobody. Personally, I think there should be a disambiguity page and an entry for "Kevin Connolly (musician)". Though I'm still reading up on the proper way to do that. This is NOT a fansite![edit]

I get that some people want more info on this guy, but adding a ton of crap to this page is getting annoying. There's no need to add EVERY event he attends and link it here. A Wiki entry is not a fansite. I like the guy too, but the info being posted is basic gossip and sightings. If you have the info, great, create a fansite, I'll even go visit it, but please stop adding it to the Wiki page. That kind of info doesn't belong in the article unless it somehow adds to it. So far, none of the info I've (repeatedly) removed has added anything to the article. I've left the link to the Facebook fan group page in external links which will lead the reader to all the gossip & sightings someone feels they need to add. That should be sufficient.

Also, if a actors' movie or project isn't yet on IMDb, please don't add it. If it's not on that site yet, I'd consider the project still unconfirmed and speculation despite any articles written about it. Also, the actor might drop out of the project so, consider it a rumor until IMDb updates their resume. Pinkadelica 20:49, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Place of Birth[edit]

This is the only place where I have seen him listed as being born in new York City. Everywhere else says he was born and raised in Long Island.

Half of Long Island is, indeed, New York City... It's just that usually people don't refer to Brooklyn and Queens as Long Island, but they are most definitely part of Long Island208.214.101.206 (talk) 16:27, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

He is the owner of a podcast network ACTIONPARK MEDIA. It may warrant having a separate page of its own, too. There, he is a regular guest/co-host on the Entourage-themed Victory the Podcast, with Kevin Dillon and Doug Ellin. This, too, could be linked with their pages.
