It is said that inauguration ceremony of Kikoeokimi was held in the most sacred place in Okinawa, Seifa-Utaki. The ceremony was called Uarauri(Japanese: 御新下り). It is believed that the ceremony represents the holy marriage to god of the creator deity, heirogamy. Religiously, the holy marriage gives Kikoeokimi spiritual power supported by Kimitezuri(Japanese:君手摩). After inaugurated, she completed this position till her end.
