I've created the 'Kill To Get Crimson' based on the initial info from Mark Knopfler's web site plus Guy Fletcher's web site. Obviously more details will be released closer to the release date or as soon as the recording label starts to promote it.--Mendors 09:05, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal[edit]

User:Mdsummermsw has suggested that "True Love Will Never Fade" and "Punish the Monkey" are non-notable songs and should not have articles, apart from the entry within this album page. I have reverted them to give time for the creator and editors to respond. -Lastcent (talk) 21:22, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect both. Both fail WP:MUSIC#SONGS, which calls for the redirects. - Mdsummermsw (talk) 20:36, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The paragragh on redirecting non-notable songs that you cite ends by saying "articles unlikely ever to grow beyond stubs should be merged to articles about an artist or album" and this is the part of the operation that you don't take the time to do. I have fixed some other MK songs that you converted to redirects by merging them into the album Sailing to Philadelphia. These are his current singles and require some discussion. -Lastcent (talk) 22:53, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
