The author writes "Westphalian Guards heroically but unsuccessfully charged the Raevski Redoubt during the Battle of Borodino."
What source do you cite for this claim? The Saxon Cuirassiers successfully took the Redoubt and the Westphalian 1st and 2nd Cuirassiers, Line formations not Royal Guard, which were attached to the Saxons in the same Heavy Cavalry Division, were in support. The Garde du Corps, which was only a company strength formation, returned to Westphalia with King Jerome, and the balance of the Westphalian Army, Corps X, was in the south with Davout.
According to this article the area of the Kingdom of Westphalia was 2,800 km2 yet the picture depict a state clearly much much larger country so it would seem that that number is inaccurate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by N-1337 (talk • contribs) 11:07, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
