This article reads like an advertisement. 842U (talk) 11:39, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I removed both the no citation and advert tags after doing a bit of rewriting and adding references. I kept the NPOV tag, though. Marshall Stax (talk) 06:14, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Any good article on any subject would include the "who, what, why, when and where." So, when did Knob Creek Bourbon first come on the market? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.196.127.243 (talk) 21:03, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This review says it was introduced in 1992 (but this article is currently locked) - "Knob Creek Bourbon". BourbonEnthusiast.com. Retrieved March 18, 2013.173.100.91.131 (talk) 22:52, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Knob Creek label

[edit]

It appears to be designed to look like an old newspaper ad that was cut out & pasted on the bottle. Has this ever been a practice of small liquor bottlers (i.e., buy an ad in the newspaper, then use discarded newspapers to make labels?) --Roz666 (talk) 00:40, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It would probably be less expensive to get a printer to print you some custom labels than to obtain discarded newspapers and cut out your ads from them. The company says that the label is reminiscent of "the decades-old custom of wrapping bottles at the distillery in newspaper", which seems to be just about using newspaper as packing material rather than as labels. —BarrelProof (talk) 22:52, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
