Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Krishna Bahadur Rajkarnikar was a real person who first introduced bread in Nepal. — Manish.rajkarnikar (talk) 02:48, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Based on what source was he the first to introduce it? That seems a pretty suspicious claim—or at least one that will be hard to verify. —C.Fred (talk) 03:53, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please visit this website. Nepali Times is reputed newspaper in Nepal. http://www.nepalitimes.com/issue/2003/06/13/Leisure/3350 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Manish.rajkarnikar (talkcontribs) 03:58, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see anything there that says he was the first to bake bread in Nepal. —C.Fred (talk) 04:06, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I do now see an article focusing on the bakery rather than the founding baker that's been beefed up with additional sources. The article is no longer subject to speedy deletion in my opinion. Kudos to Vejvančický (talk · contribs) for improving the article. —C.Fred (talk) 14:01, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
