Section moved[edit]

Brian. I move a section here as I'm not sure of how to integrate it in my expansion:

Kylfingaland may have been used to refer to Karelia; on some runestones it has been interpreted as a synonymn for Garðariki, the Old Norse name for Russia,[1][2]

Feel free to reinsert it later today, if I haven't already done it.--Berig (talk) 09:19, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation tag[edit]

Is the al-Qazwini referred to here Zakariya al-Qazwini? He wrote an historical and geographical treatise in the 13th-century, but the dates don't match with those in the article. DrKiernan (talk) 13:21, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
