Rewrite[edit]

I undid the recent expansion over concerns with the article relying so much on her autobiographies (her book and the NYP piece), which are primary, 1st-party sources, and as such, there's an inherent COI. Per policy, such "questionable sources on themselves" should not be used as primary/major sourcing on a subject, and when they are used, only for non-controversial information on themselves, which this article went well beyond doing - to the point that the pieces come across as a sensationalist publicity-grab for a minor celeb (which, let's face it, is what all this is).

That said, I returned as much as I could, mainly regarding personal life stuff, which is not controversial, and only left in a few of her criticisms of what VS allegedly told her to do. I probably should have removed that as well, as it's the exact borderline defamatory content such sources should not be used for, but I guess some context is needed, considering VS later issued a rebuttal. The rest I tried to summarize, so readers know what's in the book without the article repeating anything controversial or making readers think it's all verifiable fact when it's not.  Mbinebri  talk ← 17:30, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

What the Angel Hunt means[edit]

I wanted to add the following sentence to the article: "The company previously ran an Angel Hunt in 2007 for its Pink brand, with Katie Wile being the winner for that hunt." However, I feel that it needs work, or that it would not integrate well with the current text. Of note, the Pink search only played for a fraction (about eight minutes, or 19%) of the 42-minute VSFS 2007, compared to Bisutti's air time on VSFS 2009 of about 18 minutes, or 41% of the 43-minute show. Also, VSFS 2007 had a dedicated Pink segment, whereas VSFS 2009 built up the hunt with segments from beginning to end. It seems odd to me that Victoria's Secret would dedicate an entire show to her, only to then revoke her "Angel" wings. Please feel free to share your thoughts regarding how we should proceed with the article. Thanks. --LABcrabs (talk) 06:02, 5 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The article is a bio about Bisutti so I think the previous hunt should be part of the VS page, IMO. As far as Kylie "losing her wings", according to VS, angels are only a small percentage of their total models and they claim she was never contracted to be a full angel to begin with. She was a part of the walk and a photoshoot, among others with other companies. LovelyLillith (talk) 17:59, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
