Dedication translation[edit]

Replaced the translation originally added in rev 38187799 of 12:22, 4 February 2006 with the Katharine Woods version.

This translation is riddled with errors, such as changing the sense (e.g.: even books about children - fr: même les livres pour enfants i.e., books for children), factitious additions (e.g,: children who may read this book - fr: enfants), poor word choice (e.g., indulgence - fr: pardon, or reason - fr excuse).

Have replaced this version with the elegant text by translator Katharine Woods. This is a short selection and should satisfy Fair Use clause of U.S. copyright law, though I'm not a lawyer and can't speak for other countries. See WP:CFAQ. If it is determined that quoting this short excerpt violates copyright, please ping me and I am able and willing to provide an accurate translation myself.
