An animation showing the progression between each "day" is needed[edit]

Possible error in construction[edit]

At day 1, the construction tells you to take a closed unit square of land, and dig a lake (connected and open) such that the remaining land is homeomorphic to a unit square. This is clearly impossible as the remaining land wouldn't be simply connected. Am I missing something? Also, the blue lake seems to have some non-shared boundry on the left side in the illustration. /Anders — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 12:41, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
