Should we rename the article to Lala Moustapha Pasha Mosque and then redirect from St Nicholas Cathedral Of Cyprus and include the cathedral name in the first sentence of the lead? yes i see but i dont know why i prefer and i think it is fair to leave the article in the original state name but really i dont know what are the standard of wikipedia if you have somewhere to read about this issue to make sure of that and then to work more on the standards ,i just wanted to share the facts of the article cause i am visiting personally these places and asking people and search in old books about them please ur advise will be very appreciate it from you i am very happy to discuss these changes

i think we have also to add Cyprus republic in the categories for a reason this article is also belonging to the Cypriot culture ,i don't know also, i know this is a part of Famagusta but as u can see and as i know the EU did not yet specify the official existence of the Cypriot Turkish republic please advise i am little confused here .

Dating confusion[edit]

This site [1] claims the date of construction as 1298-1312 - assuming they mean 1412 - this cast some doubt perhaps on the dating of the cathedral - can we find a more reliable source?

The towers and roof[edit]

It's such a pity that the roofs and the top parts of the towers have been destroyed. If only the European building heritage would place cathedral roofs on the mosque. It just looks strange without the roofings. --203.15.122.35 23:26, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The building and its features[edit]

There is quite a lot to be said about the many features of this interesting building which visitors should not miss. I'll try and add things from time to time. As an aside: I'm not sure about Lala Mustafa Pasha: his unpleasant behaviour could go under the history of Famagusta rather than here.
