This is not the same track as the one that held NASCAR Busch Series from 1982-1988. That track is in the state of Virginia in the United States. Royalbroil 19:56, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Track Size[edit]

As there are disputed sizes (in references) as to the size of the track, I did a little experiment with Google Earth today, comparing the sizes of several known paved ovals of 1/4 mile and 3/8 mile lengths (taken from 1000 ft) with Langley Speedway. I took into account that both NASCAR and IndyCar get their track lengths by measuring both the inside of the track and the outside of the track, and then averaging the two (it's not about measuring the racing groove). Langley does appear to be MUCH closer in size to 3/8 mile than to 1/4 mile. Therefore, until a better reference comes along, I'm setting this back to 3/8 mile (which is what it was at before I edited it today). Greg Salter (talk) 03:42, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
