Spurious legends[edit]

The two purported legends summarized are sherbet literary creations, most likely of the early 20th century. Mercifully, the taste for such capricious falsifications is gone. Suggest to delete the last three paragraphs. If not agreeable to delete, the author (Otto Urban?) of the yarn should be identified.

Done The article has had a hatnote requesting more citations since 2008; this section was entirely unreferenced, so I have removed it. Peter coxhead (talk) 17:46, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
