Untitled[edit]

It would be great if we could add info on which losing candidates in 1919, 1968, 1984 and 1993 were dropped or withdrew and gave their support to which other candidates Formeruser-83 23:55, 16 Mar 2004 (UTC)

2006 Convention[edit]

Can we include a bit about the upcoming Liberal convention? Probably candidates include Brian Tobin, Frank McKenna, Belinda Stronach, Michael Ignatieff, John Manley.

Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. It is too early. If Martin loses the election, then specualtion will begin. There is little that could be added now that would encyclopedic. Ground Zero | t

2003 Convention[edit]

Perhaps the article should mention that at the last convention most delegates had no choice on the first ballot. Elected delegates, the vast majority, were elected as either a Martin delegate or a Copps delegate (although I believe there were some independent delegates). If one was a Martin delegate, one was handed a pre-marked Martin ballot for the first round. I believe that candidates were not bound after the first round but with only two major candidates (and Martin's huge vitory), there was no second round. --JGGardiner 22:05, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
