The Algae Planet[edit]

The image is of Kat in the sick bay...?

And it's captioned incorrectly —Preceding unsigned comment added by Heirware (talkcontribs) 11:15, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Joe's Bar[edit]

In the article it says that the bartender Joe is a reference to Grey's Anatomy. Can anyone clarify this? If it's just that there's a bartender called Joe in this other show, it's a bit of a stretch to call it a reference. E.G. There can never be another waitress called Rachel because of Friends?? I'm removing it for now. If anyone wants to put it back in, feel free to do so. (talk) 11:22, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Illuvater01

The title is wrong, this is no longer series independant. It`s only about the reimagined series.

Yes. The original plan when I created the article was to keep both series together however it's become to large (and was formatting badly) to be able to keep them both on a single page, I'm working at the moment to split the original series to its own article. thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 08:30, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Merge - 12 colonies[edit]

User:Kintetsubuffalo suggests that Twelve Colonies and List of Battlestar Galactica (re-imagining) locations be merged together.

I personally think the suggestion is a very bad idea, firstly there's the size of the article at present, not to mention that not all the locations are part of/on the Twelve Colonies.. (Algae planet, Eye of Jupiter, Earth, Ionian nebula, etc). Matthew 20:05, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

I agree with Matthew. --Fang Aili talk 21:26, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Oppose - very little of this article is about the Twelve Colonies, and further, the Twelve Colonies article deals with both the original and the reimagined timelines. 03:39, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

Use Of Pictures[edit]

There is an arguement about the use of small thumbnails on this article. I believe that you should be able to use them as they give a small picture of the location that people who are ignorant about it, in other words, the people this article is designed for, and I believe as long as their small and don't clutter the article, belong. What is everyone else's opinion? Sith Penguin Lord 23:08, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

Perhaps if they are viewable they would be useful, perhaps if they had any text to accompany they would be useful, perhaps if they're not so cluttering they'd be useful.. perhaps.. not to mention you put articles at risk by cluttering articles with a billion minuscule images. Cylon Homeworld[edit]

I don't think the show has provided much detail about it, but there are occasional references to the 'Cylon Homeworld,' the principle planet occupied by the Cylons after the First Cylon War and before the destruction of the colonies. It should be added to the list, with whatever information that can be provided for a description. (talk) 03:53, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Kobol.jpg[edit]

The image Image:Kobol.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

At some point all the Caprica articles disappeared except the TV show and a dab page. I think whatever content there was should have been merged here if possible, since right now, there are hanging {{main}} tags. Then there seems to have been a rename war between Caprica TV show and the dab page, which messes up the history, so I have no idea where the original Caprica planet article disappeared to. All the redirects from the disappeared articles ended up messed up in the process because of the move war. I have just fixed some of the redirects, since obvious New Caprica material is not in the new TV show article. (talk) 03:30, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

Tauron language[edit]

The Taurons are heard occasionally speaking a separate language resembling Ancient Greek.[13] That reference points to another wikipedia page. Also it's wrong to say that the Tauron language resembles ancient Greek, it IS Greek. The creators use a translator. Also they don't use ancient Greek. At least not always or clearly. At one point in episode 3 for example, Adama's young son and his uncle clink bottles (of beer?) and his uncles says "yamas" (/giamas). That's certainly modern Greek (very contracted form too) and not how the ancients would say it. Simanos (talk) 04:50, 24 November 2010 (UTC)

Ragnar Anchorage[edit]

At the end of the Ragnar Anchorage article is says that Aaron Doral was left there on orders from Commander Saul Tigh. I don't remember exactly what happened but it was either Colonel Saul Tigh because he wasn't commander at the time or Commander Adama. This needs to be fixed. (talk) 05:21, 22 September 2012 (UTC)
