Clean up[edit]

This article could use some copy-editting. A great deal of the statements involve POV and gameplay information, when it should be an anlyasis of personalties and placing in the storyline. I've not played this repetitive series beyond the third iteration, so a hand of assistance would be appreciated. -ZeroTalk 06:30, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

I will be going though this page to clean it up...wow...there's so much bad information here it kind of upsets me. There's no reason to have a list of Darkloids on here, that can be mentioned in their main information...thing. Also, the "List" of bosses should only contain final bosses. Sukecchi 00:51, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
I have removed the last three sections for they are not important and comtain information that is listed on the Navi page. Sukecchi 20:00, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

Real Mature...[edit]

Who edited the part about Maylu and talked about her being brutally fucked?! Geez... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.95.245.5 (talk) 23:26, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Merge[edit]

These characters do not assert notability. They either need real world information or they need to be merged. If there are no ways presented that show the possibility for sources, they will be merged here in a few weeks. TTN (talk) 00:27, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

There's a list for humans, and a list for navis. Split them that way. But Sniper Joe does not belong here. He is a classic series character. Not EXE. -Sukecchi (talk) 01:11, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
Most of the characters are from one game, so they will just be cut. This will just contain the main characters. TTN (talk) 01:16, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
I do not agree that the individual articles on any of the characters should be merged with this one. Those articles should be left as standalone articles since they contain indepth information on the corresponding characters, and be given "Main Article to" links, linking to the individual articles on those characters if avaidable. This article on Battle Network characters is and should remain only a sumary linking to the main articles about the characters.
But there is no notability. The only way they could remain separate articles is if they have a "Development" or "Conception" section, but if it is a fictional biography of minor characters, then they need to be merged. - SuperChencho (talk) 06:50, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
They aren't minor characters. The articles proposed for merging are about the main protagonists of, not only the games but also, the anime and the manga.

Some of them should be merged (Like Zero and GyroMan) but major characters like Lan (if anyone, Lan should stay the way it is) or Bass should remain. I think if there's a certain amount of in-depth information on the article (like that other guy said) then people should just leave it alone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.95.246.82 (talk) 23:35, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Strongly Disagree merges like this are litarally killing Wikipedia. --24.232.60.148 (talk) 06:11, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Right on! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.215.85.148 (talk) 14:49, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Bass should NOT be merged with the MMBN3 character list because of a few reasons. For one, he appears in MegaMan Battle Network 4 in the UnderNet as part of collecting Battle Chips and a neat battle with a great character. Second, he has a role in the anime and actually isn't a cameo. And third, he's in the Rockman movie, Japanese only. Third, he's in the manga series too! So why would you merge a character who takes part in three different areas along with the 3 series? (I guess four if you count Red Sun AND Blue Moon for MegaMan Battle Network 4) There's just no point if you think about it, it just really ruins a lot and would possibly leave out a lot of detail. Marc Firewing (talk) 08:34, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
Disagree: There is a difference between merging stuff to save space and merging stuff because of relation. There are so many characters in the MegaMan NT Warrior/Rockman.EXE timeline, that, of course, we cannot have a page for each and everyone of them. However, major/main characters should have their own pages, like Lan(Netto) Hikari, MegaMan(Rockman), Chaud(Enzan), ProtoMan(Blues), and a few others. Minor characters, like Dex(Dekao), Maylu(Meiru), Roll, GutsMan, Yai(Yaito), and Glide(Glyde) should all be in one entry, as they present no major influences in the series. So, I say no. Let MegaMan.EXE have his own page. Litintha (talk) 23:52, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Merge[edit]

Hi Czar, are you planning / able to merge this per your AfD recommendation? Not that you are obliged to in anyway, just figuring out what is happening with this page. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 18:23, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
