Title and format[edit]

This list is quite clumsily titled. Why not simply List of Wings assigned to Strategic Air Command? Or if the intent is to be more limited to wings with a specific designation List of Bombardment Wings assigned to Strategic Air Command?

Bombardment, not Bomb is the proper designation for most units listed here.

The list is not consistent for wings with their own wiki article. Some provide a wikilink, others give a bit of information. Seems like the former is more appropriate for a list article. --Lineagegeek (talk) 11:46, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The reason why the article included 'Wings' was that a number of bomb wings became just 'Wings' for a while, like I believe the 7th at Carswell. The original author wished to keep the focus here, I believe, on bombardment wings. Support move to bombardment wings and support chopping down ref to just a wikilink. Sounds reasonable to include the composite wings that included air refueling and bomb units from September 1991 to June 1993 and were named "Wings." However, that rationale would call for including the strategic wings of 1958-1963. --Lineagegeek (talk) 19:55, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
