WWE POV?[edit]

Should we mention that only WWE considers the WCW Light Heavyweight title and the WCW Cruiserweight title to be one in the same, and that WCW didn't? ---SilentRAGE! 00:45, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Sure, but you need a good source so no one deletes it. (talk) 07:05, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

The WCW World Light Heavyweight Championship and WCW/WWE World Cruiserweight Championship were two different titles. WCW never considered them the same titles, WWE rewrote the history and linked the history of the two titles, which I thought was against the rules of Wikipedia. TNAFan09 (talk) 17:41, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

It's against the rules for us to re-write history. WWE owns the rights to those belts, so they can consider them the same title if they want. It's already noted that WCW did not consider them the same title. TJ Spyke 17:43, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

But WWE also considers the World Title (Gotch/Hackenschmidt etc), NWA World Title, WCW World Title, and the current World Title(WWE) the same title? Seeker of the Torch (talk) 17:23, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

I could swear that WCW DID consider them the same title, but I don't have any references. I do know that Pro Wrestling Illustrated always considered the WCW LH championship the same as the cruiser championship (check any of their Almanacs). I assume they did that on WCW's say so but I can't prove it. -- (talk) 04:02, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

Why did someone delete all of the WCW Cruiserweight title history?TheGary (talk) 14:05, 23 April 2011 (UTC)

Took it upon myself to fix the error. Linknumbers (talk) 02:58, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
Someone must have undid what you fixed as it's back. Apparently someone's vandalizing the page for some reason. TheGary (talk) 17:11, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

Weight column[edit]

I think it would be pretty cool if we listed their bill weights as a column in this table since weight is a factor in this title, just so people know how close to 215 their billed weights are. Ranze (talk) 03:55, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

I don't see the point, we know all wrestlers are udner the limit. Also, we should make it in every weight limit title. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 11:50, 13 February 2015 (UTC)

Why is Daffney's and Crowbar's reign recognized, but Chyna's and Jericho's co-IC-reign is not? WrestlingLegendAS (talk) 18:58, 6 April 2015 (UTC)

Again, because WCW said so. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 17:23, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

WWF said it to, only difference is WWE has an official title history and WCW didn't.WrestlingLegendAS (talk) 21:59, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
