Trimming the article[edit]

I'll be removing a lot of the content in this article at some point. When somebody clicks a link of "...is a world champion in three weight classes", I presume the reader is looking for a simple list of boxers who have won major world titles in three weight classes, not a long list, short list, long list, short list with minor titles included, long list with minor titles included and whatever else is listed within the six different lists in the article. As well as seeming completely unnecessary, the article is far WP:TOOBIG. Almost double the size of the limit recommended for an article that "almost certainly should be divided". – 2.O.Boxing 13:04, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Lineal titles[edit]

These need to be removed per MOS:BOXING/WEIGHT:
There is no single canonical list of lineal champions. Do not include the lineal championship in lists of champions, record tables or succession boxes. Lineal champions are a point of view and should follow the neutral point of view policy. – 2.O.Boxing 11:16, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
