2013-01 hoax cleaning[edit]

Thank you very much for this page, which can be usefull to debunk the hoax claims about "muslim" in european cities, like > 25 % "Muslims" in Brussels or in Malmö. Unfortunatly, several of the source currently used fit this trope. I will therefore clean the page of them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Visite fortuitement prolongée (talkcontribs) 22:07, 31 January 2013

Really? Instead of "cleaning" the page, you might want to add sources that you find reliable, then delete the "hoax".--Երևանցի talk 02:17, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
Thank you for the advice. My turn to give you an advice: do not use a book titled "Islam the Cloak of Antichrist in Bible Prophecy" as source for real demographic numbers in Wikipedia. Visite fortuitement prolongée (talk) 21:31, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
Would you like to indicate where exactly I used a book titled Islam the Cloak of Antichrist in Bible Prophecy? --Երևանցի talk 22:01, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
Yes. this note, refering this page, added 2013-01-26. Visite fortuitement prolongée (talk) 21:28, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
I see no point having them as hidden text so I removed them. If a note or something similiar is needed, it can be added but a hidden list makes no sense. --IRISZOOM (talk) 04:24, 14 February 2015 (UTC)

2013-01 Bulgaria[edit]

Why is Bulgaria, an European Union country with about 10 % "Muslim", not mentionned in the article? If Sofia is muslim-free, then look at Razgrad Province, Smolyan Province and Kardzhali Province. Visite fortuitement prolongée (talk) 22:07, 31 January 2013 (UTC)

Please name a large city in Bulgaria with at least 10% Muslim population. --Երևանցի talk 02:15, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

2013-01 systemic bias[edit]

As stated in the article, "Muslim" in Western Europe "generally live in major urban areas, often concentrated in poor neighborhoods of large cities", leading to a systemic bias in the table when the suburbs are not counted. The "% Muslim" column should be splited into "% Muslim in city proper" and "% Muslim in metropolitan area". Visite fortuitement prolongée (talk) 22:07, 31 January 2013 (UTC)

As stated in the article, "Muslim" in Western Europe "generally live in major urban areas", leading to a systemic bias in such article. Maybe this "List of cities in the European Union by Muslim population" should be moved to "List of cities in Europe by Muslim population". Maybe it should be wiped out. Visite fortuitement prolongée (talk) 22:07, 31 January 2013 (UTC)

"Muslim" in Western Europe "generally live in major urban areas"; altough "Muslim" in Eastern Europe generally not live in major urban areas. See for example Smolyan Province and Kardzhali Province in Bulgaria, Tatarstan and Bashkortostan in Russia. Since the European Union is mostly in in Western Europe, to choose "... cities in the European Union ..." instead of "... cities in Europe ..." create a systemic bias, and might have a pov-pushing motive. Visite fortuitement prolongée (talk) 22:31, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

There is no definition of "Muslim" in the article, leading to a huge error margin about who is "Muslim". This should be fixed. Visite fortuitement prolongée (talk) 22:07, 31 January 2013 (UTC)

Map[edit]

Any chance of fixing the map so that it reflects the info in the article? Incidentally, I second the info from above. Cities like Burgas, Tsarevo and Khaskovo must have over 10% Muslim population. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.167.254.95 (talk) 12:24, 22 December 2013 (UTC)

In Germany[edit]

In Frankfurt it is 11.8% or 77,800 of 632,200 in 2006, see at https://www.frankfurt.de/sixcms/media.php/678/muslime_ergebnisse_einer_schaetzung_fsb2007_4.pdf /(Muslime in Frankfurt am Main - Ergebnisse einer Schätzung) results, estimated --46.189.28.68 (talk) 22:32, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
