Any plans to update these rankings from five years ago? I've read here in Japan that smoking rates have dropped year after year...currently 21.8%; the lowest ever. According to the Health Ministry here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 22.214.171.124 (talk) 10:08, 28 January 2012 (UTC)

USA and Australia of top importance?
- It's probably because a lot of people on the English Wikipedia come from the US and Australia. Major countries such as the US should have a mention in the lead. Jolly Ω Janner 03:39, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
Could anybody explain the differences?
Spain data would need to be adjusted to cover for all the fags Brits smuggle out of the country "when on holiday"...
