I find inclusion on this list

to be way to loose and easy. To classify The Modern Lovers and Buddy Holly as doo-wop is not helpful. Perhaps they might have recorded a song or two that might be classified as doo-wop (though I can't think of what they might be) does not make them foo-wop musicians.
