I balanced a set of italic-quotes in what I thought was an obvious way, but I have no method of verifying the information I added. The diff is between this and this version. grendel|khan 15:17, 2005 Mar 24 (UTC)

Why in the world is "The" capitalized? john k 00:38, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

The correct name of the state is 'The Gambia' which is always capitalised as a result. Davewild 07:26, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Well, the name of the state including "the" does not always guarantee capitalization, but a search through google news reports suggests that in this case, "the" is normally capitalized, so I withdraw the challenge. john k 14:32, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
