Add Creation Date[edit]

I think this list would be more interesting if we just made it one giant table, and added "Creation Date", so that it could be sorted by date, name, or location. Any objections? -- Jdfoote (talk) 15:48, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

I think that is a wonderful idea. Up until I believe 2005 the Church Alamanacs actually had a table of all missions listing them by when they were formed.
If there is somewhere online that these exist, I can help to enter the info. -- Jdfoote (talk) 13:33, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
Useful table. The "current" mission part of the list, though, is rather odd—how are decisions made on which mission is the successor mission? So, for example, why is the successor mission of the Australian Mission and Australia Sydney South Mission but not Australia Sydney North (or any of the other missions in the geographic area of the original Australian Mission, for that matter)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by DBowie (talkcontribs) 20:52, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
I wonder if the successor is whichever mission that gets to keep the existing mission office, or the existing mission home, or the bulk of the mission territory. ——Rich jj (talk) 17:16, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
