Removed tags[edit]

  • The "in-universe" tag I removed because the article states explicitly at the beginning of every subject that is relates to a fictional entity in David Weber's Honoverse.
  • The "refimprove" tag I removed because the Honorverse template is the reference. Debresser (talk) 09:34, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
I agree. Those who wish these tags should discuss on the talk page why they believe they should be there. Dream Focus 10:56, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
The tags I removed were restored by Jack Merridew. I disagree with them. Likewise I disagree with the "Cleanup" tag he added, since I do not think there is anything to be cleaned up in this article. Debresser (talk) 11:15, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
In general, I feel that content based on a plot without (sufficient) references should be tagged with {{Plot}}, but not with {{Unsourced}} or {{Refimprove}}. Debresser (talk) 11:20, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Nope; EEMIV restored them when you removed them; I restored them when Dream Focus removed them. I'll add plot, as you suggest, but suggest you add some real references; calling the navbox template a reference is quite laughable. Cheers, Jack Merridew 12:17, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Sorry for that error (who restored the tags). Still, don't you see some logic in what I say? Debresser (talk) 12:23, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Not really; as the box says, the article has multiple issues. Recall that I believe it should be deleted. Cheers, Jack Merridew 12:26, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
See Wikipedia:How_to_write_a_plot_summary#Citations that "Citations about the plot summary itself, however, may refer to the primary source - the work of fiction itself". Which is what I said. Debresser (talk) 12:42, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Church of Humanity Unchained[edit]

The fictional church section is rather long and unsourced. Cheers, Jack Merridew 12:24, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Rather long compared to what?
It is unsourced, because it is based on the plot. Debresser (talk) 12:34, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Rather long compared to zero. Sources establish notability, which can support inclusion. Cheers, Jack Merridew 12:58, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
It is based on the the series plot, so doesn't need any secondary sources, as shown above. Debresser (talk) 14:57, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Someone who failed to get the article they don't like deleted, is now trying to destroy part of it. And nothing there is sourced, other than mentioning it's from the books. Mentioning what books it was featured in might help I suppose. Dream Focus 15:59, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
You are probably right on both accounts. :) Unfortunately, this is the problem of all Honorverse articles. That in most cases the books are not brought for reference. There are some exceptions. Debresser (talk) 17:40, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
