SP status in Karnataka[edit]

Does SP has state party recognition in Karnataka?. I doubt. If it is correct it would easily become a national party having recognized in 4 sates. Clarify.Manjithkaini 20:43, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

According to ECI ([1]), SP is not a state party in Karnataka. --Soman 07:48, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Kanshiram is no more[edit]

Since Kanshiram is no more, the list needs to be updated. Who's the de jure president for BSP now? -- Sundar \talk \contribs 07:27, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Spelling in title[edit]

Does the queen's English use rcognise as opposed to recognize?--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 20:28, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

Update, work needed[edit]

I've update the list, along with changes in recognitions. The reference is now the situation at the 2009 general election. Several parties now lack symbols, leaders names and foundation dates. Any assistance would be appreciated. --Soman (talk) 19:37, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Merge[edit]

I think this article can be brought under a section titled as recognized parties in the article List of political parties in India and other section can have parties that are accepted but non-recognized parties according to Election Commission of India. • Support merger into one page. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 08:18, 13 March 2014 (UTC)

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... (your reason here) --Koushik Kodari 12:00, 15 March 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Saikc2mindworks (talkcontribs)
