Remerge

[edit]

I consider that in writing

became the separate municipality of Loenen-Kronenburg

i've merely reworded

was split off in 1817, under the name "Loenen-Kronenburg"

so i take no responsibility for its accuracy (or lack), tho a {{|fact}} tag would be justified.
On the other hand,

it merged again into a single municipality "Loenen"

is simply nonsense (a single thing can merge into something that already exists, e.g. the single municipality, or two things can merge into an (implicitly new) thing), and i took that as license to assume, but only provisionally (hence the need for the fact tag), that what took place in the case of Loenen is what almost always takes less long-run effort in reasonably complex polities that try to minimize the number of important people who think they've been screwed in a change:
namely, legal continuity coinciding with the name of the entity, specifically Loenen

retaining, in 1817, all its prerogatives and obligations that were not explicitly either abolished or transferred to LK, and
falling heir, in 1819, to those of LK that were not explicitly abolished along with LK.

Knowing that, rather than guessing it, is likely to require a substantial familiarity with Netherlands culture and language, and perhaps someone so equipped will check and provide (in place of the fact tag) verifiable evidence of the encyclopedically precise situation.
