Untitled[edit]

I see no good reason for this page to be put up for speedy deletion. While it is a very short stub, it doesn't appear to meet any of the speedy deletion criteria and is linked to by other pages, which is presumably why it was created. I've removed the {{d}} template. --Douglas 18:47, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Lovat Scouts Sharpshooters[edit]

The Lovat Scouts Sharpshooters (LSS) was recruited from sharpshooters / snipers but was more of a reconnaissance unit and has been compared with the SAS. They worked in the front line or ahead of the front line and were instructed to withdraw if the enemy advanced because they were so valuable. Few records of the unit survive apparently. jmb (talk)
