Criticism of the lovemap theory[edit]

Surely the whole concept can be easily criticised by virtue of the mere fact that people are attracted to different persons at different times? The article claims that a lovemap contains a highly idealised and specific view of the qualities a lover should have, but why then do people sometimes have multiple relationships with different types of partner? How does it explain bisexuality, or serial monogamy? Is there any criticism of it in existence?--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 10:01, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
