Song on Honda Commercial[edit]

I would say that having your song lyrics sung on a Honda commercial ("I'm a Hoodie Ninja") is Wiki entry worthy.giggle 13:04, 8 June 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gregory.george.lewis (talkcontribs)

hesh?[edit]

No mention of playing the character Hesh on Sealab 2021? He must have appeared in at least a dozen episodes, any reason why this is not included before I add it? 96.228.129.185 (talk) 08:27, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

The capitalization issue[edit]

I know this has been the subject of debate in the past but true consensus was never reached. The article title was just changed and left that way. I know mc chris is used on the albums but ultimately, that's a matter of style and not proper usage for Wikipedia. So I researched and found some info that pertains to Wikipedia's guidelines on the matter. According to Mixed or non-capitalization it's still somewhat debatable. Typically, it sounds like MC Chris SHOULD be the proper usage for Wikipedia. There are exceptions though, if there is "regular and established use in reliable third-party sources." Considering that the only true source given for mc chris is from the artist himself, and NOT from third party sources, I believe that the name needs to be reverted to MC Chris here on Wikipedia. Just to clarify, I am a fan and have no issue with how he refers to himself or the spelling of his name. My opinion strictly refers to the usage on Wikipedia. Any input? The style guide shouldn't matter, that's how he spells his name, with all lowercase letters. It's not only written that way on the albums but he also states it in lyrics of at least 2 songs. It's mc chris, lowercase, no dots. --Zaiger (talk) 22:50, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
Hi there
The Wikipedia style guide defines how Wikipedia uses punctuation. Capitalization is this instance is part of punctuation as it indicates abbreviation (for instance, distinguishing McDonald's from a rapper called MC Donald's). In these cases, Wikipedia acknowledges an individuals personal spelling in brackets subsequent to an article title using correct grammar.

Albums[edit]

Hey guys, I'm going to merge mc's album articles into a new article: MC chris discography. I couldn't find sources to justify independent notability for any of the albums, so rather than delete them I figure we can consolidate the information onto a single page. I'm keeping the track listings, per this discussion, but not the images, per WP:NFLISTS. Hopefully I don't screw this up too badly - let me know if you have any concerns, and feel free to recreate any of the album articles if you can find sources. --Cerebellum (talk) 19:44, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
